And now for the long-winded intro — I promise it’s worth it.
Spending my days/nights as a 911 emergency dispatcher, listening to people during some of the hardest moments they’ll ever face, I felt a deep pull to create something lighter — something that could offer comfort, warmth, or a brief moment of happiness in a world that can often feel heavy. Creating became my way of balancing those experiences, turning compassion into pieces meant to bring a little brightness into everyday life.
Over time, creating also became my way to reset my mind and restore balance after those intense hours. What began as a way to relax and decompress slowly grew into a passion for making pieces that reflect both light and darkness. Every item I create is made with intention and heart, with the hope of bringing comfort, happiness, or even just a simple smile — because sometimes the smallest moments of joy can make the biggest difference.
I grew up in a small town in Georgia and now live in a small town in Nevada, where quiet space meets wide skies, and creativity seems to stretch a little farther. Life here is full — very full. If you’re wondering how I find the time to do all of this, the honest answer is: I don’t sleep much, and I’ve gotten very good at multitasking.
Our household includes what might be considered a small zoo. I have the best dogs anyone could ask for — Koda, a 160-pound Saint Bernard with a heart even bigger than his paws, and Scruff, a 120-pound Saint Bernard–Poodle mix with endless personality. Both are two years old and fully convinced they’re lap dogs. I’m also lucky enough to have Xena, my 12-year-old Husky, who has been with me through many chapters of life.The rest of the crew includes two cats, Two-Face (also known as Meow Meows) and Furby, plus 14 chickens and 12 ducks who keep things lively. One day, I’m hoping to add a mini donkey or a mini cow — because clearly, I haven’t learned my lesson yet.
Outside of creating, I’m proudly nerdy. I love all things Disney, horror, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Doctor Who, and the Wizarding World. I’m an avid reader and unapologetically obsessed with fantasy worlds — especially The Empyrean and Throne of Glass. I even have an entire room dedicated to books, statues, and memorabilia — a space where imagination and creativity run free.
Vibrantly Wicked Creations is an extension of all of this — the contrast, the quiet moments, the chaos, and the joy found in creating something meaningful.
